According to TechCrunch, Skype hits 1 million Downloads in 2 days so even 2 days

We knew it would be a success, but not a lot more of a hit. The official Skype application iPhone , hit the iTunes Store last Tuesday and since then, is seen an astonishing one million downloads for the popular Apple devices, which is nothing short of amazing. This translates into about 6 downloads per second.

On blog post announcing the milestone, Skype blogger Peter Parkes says he is "confident that he is one of the fastest-downloaded iPhone apps ever," which means that it is not really sure.
